To You - Pinoy Idol

Gretchen Espina, thanks for winning the competition. You gave us a victory. You have proven that the crappy show needs a crappy winner. And congrats for being the crappy winner that the GMA 7 franchise deserved.

What I think about the FINALE?

Crappy. Walang flow. The best of night was Kid's part na naagawan ng spotlight even si Robby Navarro at Luke Mijares.

The winning song is a mess. Parang refrain and chorus repeat 5 times! Dut. dut.

The finale. Walang grandiose. Walang thrill. Walang pizzazz. Parang auditions lang ng Philippine Idol.

Crappy ang nanalo. Wala man lang performances ang TOP 12! I mean yung isa-isa. I am hoping for solos like Kid and Mr. Basil Valdez, Penelope and Ms. Regine Velasquez or Daryl with Ogie Alcasid man lang.

Parting words, to you visitors! Thanks for reading the recaps and for supporting Vote for the Worst Pinoy. It might not been consistent much, and it might not be a really great spinoff of the original, but hey! It was a good start. We got publicity. Our bet won. We succeeded this season!

Truly, a Vote for the Worst Pinoy: Iboto ang Lagpak victory!

Please check the site from time to time for more Idol-bashing moments.

Sino ang Lagpak? : Top 16

The Top 16 has just been named. Its time to know who's up at Vote for the Worst Pinoy Iboto ang Lagpak ( I b A n L ag!). The rocker pretended that his unique musical influence is Michael Jackson and adapted the David Cook version of Billie Jean. Ano beh!?! To vote for Warren , key in: IDOL WARREN and send to 2344 (for Globe and other networks) and 367 (for Smart and TnT). To further worsen the show, we chose the Kristy Lee Cook version of Pinoy Idol and its no other than the beautiful lady behind the plain performances for three consecutive weeks! You guessed it right! IbAnLag si Gretchen Espina ! To vote for Gretchen , key in: IDOL GRETCHEN and send to 2344(for Globe and other networks) and 367 (for Smart and TnT). Help make Pinoy Idol the worst reality show Philippines has

Whack 3: Ram Chaves

RAM CHAVES See. Ram looks like a turtle! Anyway, here are his songs for tonight Round 1: Bridge Over Troubled Water He has a good voice. But really, its not phenomenal for me. I would like it if he made it 'rock' without those popping eyes and Bamboo Bamboo puto maya moves. Round 2: I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing You're not DAVID COOK. But GMA 7 wants you to win just to have someone to compare to him. But you will never ever be a DAVID COOK. You're so yabang. It was quite good but, mababa masyado ang arrangement! Halatang hindi abot. Round 3: Salamat Sipsip sa Pinas. Ram, you're such an act. You're very very plastic. It's not a good performance for me, 'cause there's nothing extraordinary with what you did.

A Success: Meryl and Walton Out

Two of the remaining goodies in the competition exited the show last night, it's no surprise as Walton Zerrudo and Meryl David got the boot. Meryl's lack of looks and personality got the best of her. Her performance last Saturday was okay and one of the best ones. Though one of the most consistent ones in the competition, Meryl, who confessed that Lauryn Hill mostly influences her music style, was voted out last night. She sang Killing Me Softly . Even if the judges gave the hype to Walton Zerrudo, he still lost his way to stardom. Even owning the night last Friday, Walton received the lowest number of votes along with Kid and Toffer in the Bottom 3. Along with Meryl in the bottom three were the best of the performance night: Mae Flores and Jeni Rawolle. --- Comments. It's actually suspicious since they only eliminated two this round (one male, one female). Can't they afford Kid, Toffer, Jeni, or Mae (some of the better contestants) to leave the show? If they want the
